John Chaney co-hosts monthly radio program - “Horsing Around”
Horsing Around is a monthly
12 minute segment on different equestrian topics. Co-host
Jerry Phillips (see Jerry’s bio below) and John talk
about issues regarding horses and all kinds of topics for
the horse enthusiasts. The program airs on Sports Talk 980
WTEM-AM on the third Sunday of the Month between 6-7 am and
on 98.7 WMZQ-FM Country on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Both of these stations are in the Greater Washington area.
Jerry Phillips Jerry Phillips is a fourth generation Washingtonian with
over thirty-five years of community radio and television
broadcasting in the Washington, DC Market. Phillips is the
public affairs director for Clear Channel Radio's Washington
Cluster. His responsibilities include overseeing and providing
broadcast opportunities and community outreach to the Washington,
DC Regional communities for Clear Channel Radio in accordance
with the Federal Communications Commission. Phillips produces
six weekly public affairs radio shows. Phillips appears weekly
on NBC-4's "Reporters Notebook" as an analyst and
commentator on local community and political affairs.
